So if you want them shout and they are your free mahala en verniet else they will become scrap metal At a scrapyard they may only be worth the monetary value of a few cold ones, so hopefully they will be worth more to someone else...
I still have a set of OE coils that came off my Gen 3 available to a good home. They have about 120 000 kms on the only reason I changed was for the lift but if I ever have to lift again I will definitely use spacers rather that after market coils.

Hi CATS,
Do you have an aftermarket bullbar installed or do you have medium coils on the front (petrol version)? Two fitment centres I spoke to refuse to fit Ironman due to the stiff coils and problems with the shocks.

I have ARB Sahara bar upfront and winch. The OLD Man Emu was Heavyduty. When I fitted the Iron man there is only one to choose from. I have however experienced hassles with the Ironman and went back to Old Man Emu up front.

I am not surprised that the guys refuse to fit the IM after my experience. They are just not up to the same standard as the OME ones.
CATS
I have just fitted OME to my GEN 3 LWB. I was a bit worried about the ride quality when the car is empty, but am very pleasantly surprised. The car is more surefooted and the ride is actually smoother! I have not tried it fully laden as yet. I fitted the standard coils up front and the mediums at the rear. Expensive, yes, but worth every cent.

Hi Kenekam,
Do you know what the part numbers of the springs were? It seems there are different part numbers for diesel / petrol, medium duty /heavy duty...
Thanks,
Greg

Try Autoquip in Centurion or even Hi-Q for Gabriels? What will a set from the dealers set you back? The Original ones are very good quality.JP1 wrote:Guys, any idea where i can get hold of Monroe shocks in pretoria for LWB Did ??

If you will consider Gabriels, also consider their off-road product: KUBU's.

I think you mean Gabriel Kubu, Anton
, but I doubt whether Gabriel has shocks for the Gen 3, especially for the front where coil-over-shock struts are employed.
