I have a 2005 GLX
On a reasant trip to Mosselbay the SRS light on the right hand side of the dash started flikkering intermittantly
On the way back to Durbanville today it stayed on permanently.
According to the manual it is the airbags and should be checked by the service Centre;
Is it posable that on the GLX it could come on if the brake pads need repllacement as the rear ones might need replacing?
Thanks
johan
JDV, the same thing happened on my 2006 GLX. It was the rotating wiring harness within the steering wheel/column (wires that run to the driver's airbag) that was faulty. The agents replaced that rotating part and the problem was solved.

Hi superairborne,
thanks for the info
Did the cars hooter work, as that is an indication of where the fault is?
What was the cost of replacing the parts?

I think the hooter was still working. I cant tell u what it cost; it was fixed under warranty. I hope u get it sorted out inexpensively.
