Blister fender is the best looking Pajero there is... especially in white :mrgreen:

Interesting how opinions differ. Although I used to own a white Blister Fender, I always thought the older pre face-lift Gen2 like yours looked much nicer. To me it it as though the older ones look the way they were intended to look and that they spoilt it a bit when doing the update.

The older ones don't have the vulnerable side steps and the plastic cladding is also less likely to be damaged in the rough, but I like the Blister Fender's rear diff lock and the subtle interior updates (white instrumentation lettering and lighting and slightly modernised switch gear).

I hear what you say, but I must agree with SimonB, she’s a beauty. :) The scratches received over the years were mostly around door lever-level and the plastic cover wouldn’t make a huge difference. Another advantage of the white car is that scratches is not that visible and can easily be removed.

I think I might retract my statement - I saw a stunning Gen 2 (not a blister fender) with that two tone silver and dark brownish paintjob... and tinted windows - look very nice.
