Interesting how opinions differ. Although I used to own a white Blister Fender, I always thought the older pre face-lift Gen2 like yours looked much nicer. To me it it as though the older ones look the way they were intended to look and that they spoilt it a bit when doing the update.SimonB wrote:Blister fender is the best looking Pajero there is... especially in white
The older ones don't have the vulnerable side steps and the plastic cladding is also less likely to be damaged in the rough, but I like the Blister Fender's rear diff lock and the subtle interior updates (white instrumentation lettering and lighting and slightly modernised switch gear).

The scratches received over the years were mostly around door lever-level and the plastic cover wouldn’t make a huge difference. Another advantage of the white car is that scratches is not that visible and can easily be removed.

I think I might retract my statement - I saw a stunning Gen 2 (not a blister fender) with that two tone silver and dark brownish paintjob... and tinted windows - look very nice.Gerrit Loubser wrote: Interesting how opinions differ.
