I'm a firm believer of keeping a vehicle clean. because the paintwork last longer, and you spot problems pretty quickly. My mech always comments that my engine is a pleasure to work on because it is generally spotless.
BTW, I don't put salt on my lamb chops either..

I believe in keeping my cars clean and the tyres looking good, what's the use of putting on a suite and having dirty shoes.
Here are 2 photos the one taken at Augrabies after a recent trip through the Karoo, the Cederberge and Namaqualand on dirt roads. Although I love a clean car I am not adverse to getting it dirty. The second photo is after we got home and 2 days of spit and polish.
