Still looking for a diode matrix for a Pathcom/Pace Syncro Landmaster 29meg radio - if you should happen across it please be so kind as to pass it on

Terry, I'd love to be able to help you but I have absolutely no info on the Pace radios at all.

Did you write that mob regarding a programming/cutting chart?

As I stated in the PM, I'm not sure that the radio was designed for 29MHz originally, I think it might have been a modification by whichever company imported these radios into SA in the first place.

Instead of physically cutting the diode matrix leads, they might possibly have 'blown' (pun not intended...) the diode open-circuit to effect tuning. You will be able to check this with an Ohm Meter or a DMM set to the "Diode" function.

Well I hope they havent blown them cos that'll probably mean replacing them??

Sounds like I should just go down to LA Sport and buy a new one!!

Seems like my problem is solved - SARL.org.za solved the problem. A guy called Keith Lowes offered to help. Says he has all the info we need.
Thanks for all your input Eric and I'll certainly be contacting you for the frequencies we need when I get the matrix.

Any suggestion of who to go to here in Pta to get it sorted?
