I drove my pajero last night for the first time in the dark and allthough impressed with the low beam Xenons, the high beam Halogens are not very good.
I see the high beams are H9 globes at 65watt!
Has anyone done something to improve this, not so minor, flaw on an otherwise stunning vehicle?
You can try Osram Nightbreakers or the Phillips equivalant if you can find it.
I have Osram Cool Blue's on my 99 model and works like a charm. It gives you a clear bright light .
I also fit these to my spotlights.

i also fitted cool blues on my main beams (for the io). was very impressed with the difference only downfall was they only lasted about a year. but at R150 a pair its all worth it. just a tip always keep a spare set somewhere in the car
Ive had my Gen 4 for over three years now and really cannot complain about the light, especially the high beams. I think they are way better than in all my previous cars
But they are yellow!
I dont want to fit a nudgebar/bumper just to fit spot lights.
I phoned Midas and a bunch of other spare places, no one knows what I'm talking about or they cant get, some ever reffered me to the flea market.

What do you mean they can't get? Can't get H9 bulbs. I would fit Osram Nightbreakers or Philips Extremepower. The Nightbreakers aren't available in H9 but I hear H11 is a compatible fit.nbosman wrote:But they are yellow!
