Monster Gen4 Pajero
Not mine and probably a bit over the top for South African typical use. But MAN it looks MEAN!! Especially with those knobbly/noisy Mud Terrain tyres on!!

Expect to replace steering components at regular intervals! :D

I wonder what a set of tyres like that will cost one? R40000 for the set?

It still looks great!

Probably one of those Icelandic conversions. Would love to take that thing to Atlantis Dunes on Fridays.

Re: Monster Gen4 Pajero
That's Icelandic. If you need help with translating anything about these trucks, let me know. 38s are quite common up here, 44s are not rare and bigger certainly exists, up to 52s. Components are frequently strengthened and the maintenance isn't too bad. I regularly drive a couple of 44" trucks the SAR squad operates and they are not the easiest trucks to drive on the road but they shine in snow or mud. Modifications for a truck like that involve diff locks rear and front, extra transfer case for lower gearing, winch mounts front and rear and air compressors.
