Hey Guys
2005 Pajero 3.2 with the standard 17" rims.
What is the best size MT to go for? The Pajero will have a lift shortly before the tires go on.
The MT will be put on for trails and rough stuff so they wont be my day to day ride.
What will work best, any advice please guys.
standard is 265/65/17
maybe go 265/70/17?
or 275/70/17?
Im after the bit of lift from the tires as well. But also dont want to do any damage to the drive train etc
Thanks guys?
265/70/17 should fit, 275/70/17 will interfere with bodywork and turning.
Do a search here and on the 4x4 community, I seem to remember a thread where a Pajero guy did all sorts of tests as to which tires fit and which don't.
I wouldn't mind putting on 16" rims.... Tires a whole lot cheaper

Jay,
AFAIK the 2005 3.2 have 16" wheels as standard, not 17". Mine has 16" standard alloys on, or did they come out with different sizes?

The GLS came out with 17" rims.
Cheers.
My bad, I have the GLX - I was not sure if they came out with different sizes.
