After much thought and asking quotes for mag cleaning and all sorts of advice I decided to tackle the job myself.
I started with a pressure washer with the blaster nozzle.
I then made a paste of handy andy and vim mixed together . Used fine steelwool and then lots of elbow grease.
I then took Reinol hand cleaner with a dish sponge the ones with the little scouring pad on and some more elbow grease again. Lastly I took Reinol again with fine steelwool .
The result is better than I thought it will be. Not 100% like new but I think it will sufice as a nice clean rim.
