Hi all,
My handbrake indicator light doesn't work. Where is the switch for it or where do I go look first?
Thanks
Pierre
Under the handbrake where it swivels beneath the center console.

Hee-hee - the straf for being a pakka dutchman. Plus the fact that my cellphone don't have spellcheck
Removed console last night and inspected switch. Seems ok. Also earthed it straight but no light on the dashboard
What are the typical problems with the light not working?
Is there a fuse somewhere or do I have to check the bulb?
I never saw the light working since I bought the car, so I don't even know where the light is. Is it in the rev counter section? Is it easy to get to it?
Thanks

I'm not sure the switch makes an earth contact. It may be relaying 12v
On the other hand, the bulb may be blown. If I remember correctly it is just to the top left of green 4x4 lights.
found the pictures I posted a long time ago. This is from my 1993 3.0 V6

Can you believe it - there was no globe in the socket!
Thanks Marius, without your pic I would still be checking all the existing globes without trying the empty sockets.4ePikanini wrote: If I remember correctly it is just to the top left of green 4x4 lights.
I moved the "open door" light to the hand-break one until I can buy a replacement tomorrow.
I will somme buy 3 as I noticed there are 2 other empty sockets. I assume for other models, but you never know what might light up
Thanks again
