Well my Friday ended like this:
My car is with the wrapping guys and about 16h00 I got this call.
Your car's ignition does want to unlock to start. They tried everything from hammering to spraying with all sorts of muties but no luck.
R600,00 further Eventually got a locksmith out to attend to the problem and he's words were_ your ignition is broken totally.
Something to do with all sorts of funny thingies inside.
So he says he is going to try and fix it but if unseccessfull will have to get a new one or a second hand one which he can then modify to take my keys.
I am sitting in Secunda and the car is in Pretoria.
Does anyone know where I can find a second hand one or maybe what the cost of a new ignition barrel will be.
The part of the chip side is still ok it is just the barrel.
