Hi All!
I bought my Blister with the Burnco bumper but the problem is that the colour does not match. Its black whilst the rest of the bumper and steps are Silver. I have two options.
1 Spray the back bumper and sides Black. [Problem is that aluminium ain't gonna easily comply ]
2 Spray the Burnco bumper Silver to match the rest of the bumpers
Let me know your opinions [see attached MS Paint modified photos]

Put chrome spots on first to break the black and then see what it looks like

Need to ream the holes in the bumper for my KC's. Will do shortly! But I still need to have uniformity! Either all black or Silver bumpers!
I think it will look better with the replacement bumper in silver.

I have been batling with this question for many years and currently still have the Black ARB bumper and all the rest in silver. I agree silver will look nice, but firstly then I need to take the bumper off the vehicle, something which seems like an awful lot of work at this time of the year
, and secondly the black touch up very nicely whenever scratched etc.
So I guess what I am saying is that I grew used to it and now it just does not seem worth it to change

Hi 4ePikanini
Just fittesd the spots and I must say it looks good, but I still think silver is the way to go, although I take Cats point regarding scratches

Well, I would have doubts about paint sticking to the soft plastic of the fender flares/mudguard things, around the wheel wells. You could of course take them and the running boards off and replace them with black rock sliders. Then paint the rear bumper black. Perhaps a bit more work than you are looking for?
I envy you guys of those aftermarket bumpers. How heavy are they relative to the original bumper?
