Re: Tail lights Gen 3
GEN 3 Top tail lights , I removed my 3.2 DID LWB tail lights , then used a circle saw to drill / saw a hole into the plastic where the top tail light " should fit " once the holes were drilled I went to the local Spare shop and we went through the available globe fittings that were available , we did find a globe fitting that manage to " clip " into the hole and all exited of to home I went just to discover that Mitsubishi did not allow space between the body and light fitting for the globe fitting , the rugby was on tv friends came over for a dop and tjop and the pajero had to wait , the next morning saw me walking into the local " plastic shop " to get a LED globe ( female friend recommended the plastic shop )the LED globe did fit into the hole without a fitting , the solder iron fixed two wires to the LED globe and bostik car silicone fixed the globe to the tail light ,I took the two wires down to the lower tail lights and had them connected , the lights are working fine and I do feel much safer driving around at night as the vehicle are more visible 20 000 km later and the globes are still 100% without any hick ups , we do live in the country , I am sure the city boys will have a better chance in getting a fitting for the globe at your local spare shop

Re: Tail lights Gen 3
Yet another option for LED tail lights. I did this job last year and had no problems up to now.
