hallo i have a 1996 3.5 pajero after having the engin rebuilt my compass isn't working, the display works but it flickers and doesn't point i a direction. Any help on this?

hold the calibration button for a few seconds until it enters calibration mode.
Drive in a circle once or twice. It will re-calibrate itself.

How wil i know its in calibration mode? and how fast must i drive? must i turn full lock? clock wise or anti clock wise?

the display will behave differently. Either lighting up all the directional letters or making a circular motion. You'll see it change after holding the button for a few seconds.
When driving in circles you will see when it has sorted itself as it will automatically start showing the direction you are driving.
