I just did the 215 000 service on my paj, i phoned Mitspro today and asked them about the oil presure switch, at the end of the conversation i asked them witch oil do they think is the best for the paj and he said delo 400 or castrol edge, when i told him i replaced with castrol gtx diesel he adviced me to drain the oil ASAP cause the gtx diesel oil is to thin for the engine
is this acurate?
Piri,
Yes, you got very good advice. Do drain the GTX as soon as possible. The GTX is formulated for petrol engines, that has much lower bearing loading values than diesel engines. Prolonged use in your vehicle will result in acellerated bearing wear.
The Delo 400 is the preferred oil of most heavy plant operators i know - earth moving companies, farmers etc.
