Those are some amazing km recorded before engine overhaul, and I'm keen to know what was the oil consumption on that Gen 1 with 450 000km on the clock, and on other Gen 1 models ?

My Gen 1 with 210 000km has used 1 litre per 2000km since I bought it 12 years ago.

My Gen 2 Pajero (2.8TDI) has 340 000km on the clock and use a bit less the a litre of oil on 7000km

If the consumption is constant over the last 12 years, then don't worry about it.

My Gen2 3.0V6 used that much from new.
