Re: Davidvan's Pajero - aka Scratches
Front Mud flaps are next to be put on before we head off to Kgalagadi, have got alot of plastic rash already (especially close to the rear wheels where stones are kicked up from the front wheels - small lippie on the early Gen3 which takes alot of punishment).

I try and catch the puncture before the air has left the building and plug with a snot plug - got lots of expereince with that :-), when you hear psftttsssstttt I stop, find and plug as quick as possible.

Good pose there CATS, must compare puncture repair photos sme time :-), I have a few :-)

Re: Davidvan's Pajero - aka Scratches
Some Pics of the Front Runner Towbar, with air positions for the rear airbags/bellows which worked out quite nicely, front mudflaps and side view. My Paj appears to be slightly higher in the rear than before and will be doing some measurements to compare after fitting the bellows. The Paj is definately nose down, and may be reviewing my spacer options to possibly only do the front smaller spacers

The front shocks were completely buggered and have got some OME up front now (Thanks CATS), they will definately come in handy from the next trip in less than 6 days...
Side view, can see nose down stance, also due to front bullbar

Re: Davidvan's Pajero - aka Scratches
Rear up is not so bad. It will even out nicely once you hook up the trailer I think. If you even it out without load it will have nose up stance when loaded, even with airbag mine still saggs at the rear when loaded fully.

By the way, looking good and I am :mrgreen: with envy on you upcoming trip.

Re: Davidvan's Pajero - aka Scratches
Finally getting front spacers fitted today, new shocks in the rear, 4 wheel alignment and a puncture sorted, at last....
Re: Davidvan's Pajero - aka Scratches
Nice! Have to put my spacers in some time!

Any change in ride comfort?

Re: Davidvan's Pajero - aka Scratches
Hi GT,

I added the smaller front spacers, the rear has airbags, and is now level, and I like it, looks ready for action! I only drove 10km's today but didn't really notice much difference, will need to do more distance to say if it is harder. JUst waiting for my pwork projects to come to an end now, need to go and play, itching badly.

Cheers

David
