Pajero Legend
I see in the press that Mitsubishi has released a limited number of "Legend" models. Based on the LWB DiD GLX, the car is fitted with a few off-roading goodies. See http://www.iol.co.za/motoring/4-x-4/paj ... -1.1392434.

Has anybody actially seen one? I understand that it has a highlift jack and would like to know whether the car has jack points for this jack. Pity the GLX does not have speed control.

Re: Pajero Legend
Just seen this now, I believe it does not have high lift jack points, one would have to use one of those "wheel buddies"
Re: Pajero Legend
There were two standing at Mitsubishi Bryanston..

Ive had a look at them, look nice.

Youre right, there are no highlift jack points, but from my memory it did include the wheel buddy.

I like the snorkel though, which is not shown in that pic, but the one that Mitsu Midrand had, did have one
Re: Pajero Legend
I've been in the legend, and the Green Monster... I'll have the offspring from that pair thanks! Geez, the Monster was well conceived, but a few items are really not that necessary. All the additional lights, the drawer system, the ridiculous wrap, the mags, the fancy suspension can all get lost. Give me the bumpers, the seat covers, some spacers from Uys, the tyres, etc ... that'll be great!

Re: Pajero Legend
Have fitted speed control to my GLX.

Realy needs it.

Why use High lift jack if one can use blow up jack?

Much lighter to cart arount and safer?

Took the jump seats out. Just slides out. Have used the extra space for the air jack and pump and other goodies

The extra space is much more appreciated than the jump seats

must agree on some suspension upgrade and decent AT tyres eventually
