Bernard, Its a personal choice, obviously. And I note your statement about never having had a problem. But I have done a lot of reading up on the K&N filters and I would prefer to stick with a Mitsu OEM design and higher fuel consumption (and higher filter costs over the lifetime of the vehicle) than a washable filter and possibly faster wearing engine.Bernard wrote:Hi guys

The K&N can be purchased from Masterparts and is a drop in replacement filter, no modification required. Even if it only has a marginal effect, it is washable and saves the environment as it never has to be replaced. I have used them in all my vehicles and never had a problem...
