Hi guys,
Some time ago one of the members enquired about the possibility of playing music from a MP3 player in his PAjero. As far as I know, nobody could to date provide an answer.
A few days ago I was in Builders Warehouse and saw a gadget that will enable us to play music from a MP3, SD card cellular phone and a normal memory stick.
This gadget is made by MILEX and is called a "WIRELESS MP3 TRANSMITTER". It plugs into a cigarette lighter socket, you tune the given frequency on your FM radio (my freq is 87,5M hertz) and hey presto music from your MP3 etc. The price was about R100,00.

KaiV,
Just bought it but I did test it with some music on a memory stick that was converted from a normal LP. Works well. I forgot to add that I also bought another gadget that will enable me to record/convert my LPs (hope some of you can still remember LPs!!!) into MP3 and then to play it via the first gadget. Price R130,00. Those of you that have toured far from civiiasation will know that radio reception does not exist and that some of the roads/tracks does not allow the use of your CD player. These gadgets will allow me to listen to music in the bush.

Is this a record player to MP3? I still have a couple of boxes of LP's ..cloyd wrote:.....I also bought another gadget that will enable me to record/convert my LPs (hope some of you can still remember LPs!!!) into MP3 .....
Does this other R100 buck device have bluetooth? I'm thinking attaching my cell to it
Hi this little gadget works great. just remember that you have to convert your music files to MP3 format and then copy it to a memoru stick. The only problem with this gadget is that it has no memory, so every time you switch off your Pajero, it resets to zero. when you start the Pajero again, the music again starts at the first track. But you can record old LP's, 4track tapes or new cd's to your computor, convert the file to a MP3 format and download to a memory stick and use it.
Can you give more info on the gadget that convert the LP's to digital .

The actyal box is 70mm x 25mm x 10mm and on the one side has two RCA plugs that goes into the record player and on the otther side (the output) a UBS plug that goes into your computer. The also include a RCA extention lead. The kit also has a CD that you install on the computer and from then on. you convert LPs to digital to MP3 and safe on a memory stick etc.

Well, yes it plays MP3's no problem.
I cannot connect my phone to it, even though it says it can. Possibly thats what the cable is for? I dont read destruction manuals
Cool gadget though. At least I can no listen to music instead of all these talk stations.....
