1)I'll be totally surprised if the manual is measurable lighter on fuel
2)The autobox is very well proven and oh so nice to drive.

You want advice? My advice is to go for the auto.

Re: Pajero sport manual or automatic
I popped in at Mitsubishi this morning for a quick view of the September 2013 upgraded Pajero Sport. Must say I am quite impressed. Some highligts are:
- New front end styling
- New rear tail lamp styling
- Full Super Select transfer box
- Paddle shift manual override on the five speed automatic
- rear camera and large touch screen display
- Stability and traction control plus rear diff lock
- Black leather seats
- And 131Kw 2.5 motor with Variable Geometry Turbo
- Rain sensor
- Automatic air conditioning.
- and a few more little things.

Not bad at R545900 automatic and R435900 for the manual.

Sorry about the typo. The Auto goes for R445900 and the manual for R435900. I recall that to be the same pricing as the exiting models. 4X2 for the future will be R419900.

Hi. Manual vs Auto. One has to just look how many times an auto has won various off road competitions. Pleant of times. The new auto gearboxes are great and very efficiant when it comes to fuel consumption. Driving in traffic, what a pleasure. By the way, I drive a GLS LWB and what a pleasure.
