Gen 3 GLX - Return to former glory and beyond
Hi Guys.

I have had a post or two on the vehicle already, only think it is fair to share my journey with my new object of affection.

Some background:
2006 GLX
Bought with 155 000km a month ago, sitting on 158 000 now.
Don't think the previous owner appreciated the honest nature of the vehicle.
Started off immediately with an oil and filter change, in the process succeeded in breaking of both front bashplate bolts. Still need to sort this out.
With the first wash noticed yellow coils peaking out from underneath some black spraypaint ,full TJM XGS system installed (except for the two rear shocks, any suggestions that would fit the 60mm lift would be appreciated).
Vehicle had the original steel wheels and Landsail Trailblazers ( ) fitted, this has been changed to Triton wheels and Hankook Dynapro ATs, pictures to follow shortly. Planned enhancements:
New rear shocks
Stofpad bashplate
Mp3 Radio
Replacement front bumper.
And loads of happy miles with das familia.

Happy you're enjoying the pajero. Awesome vehicles.....can't see myself buying anything else soon......KB6 maybe but too expensive. :)

I bought my stofpad bash plate last week....still standing in the spare bedroom because I also have to sort out those two bolts first. One bolt is missing, but the thread looks dodgy and the other bolt is still there but missing it's head.

My pajero is very close to 200 000km now, should reach it by the end of the current tank diesel. There is a few nitty gritty oil leaks I want to sort out, I'll start from the top and work my way down, replacing seals etc, maybe take one system at a time and service everything.

Enjoy your beast.....awesome vehicles.
