Mechanic Recomendations in Cape Town City
Hi,
Can anyone recommend a good 4x4 garage in the Cape Town Inner city area? I have a 1996 Pajero NJ and need a good service and a couple of things looking at.

I was hoping for a good 4x4 garage or to maybe use the Mitsubishi dealership garage. Has anyone used the Mitsubishi Dealership garage for maintenance and servicing? Any is this a good or bad idea?

I will arrive in Cape Town towards the end of the week as we are traveling overland form Sydney Australia to London UK. You can read our story here http://www.morgansafari.com
Any recommendations you can offer will be greatly accepted.

Thanks
Richard & Sophie Morgan.

Hi,
Inner city - I don't think you will have any luck. (we in Cape Town, call it the city bowl)
There is a dealership in Paarden Eiland. It is visible on about the 2km mark on the lefthand on the N1 outwards from town. They are closest to the city. On a 30km radius from town (still in the Cape Peninsula), there are a number of other dealers and workshops.

Hi Richard and Sophie,

Welcome. Looks like you have been enjoying Lesotho. I hope you enjoy your stay in South Africa.

How long will you be in Cape Town and where does your route from there take you?

I am sure that some of the Cape Town forumites will be able to provide you with info on service possibilities - but you can also search on Pajero Workshop Recommendations

Best regards

Hi there, welcome in SA!
Forget the dealerships around CT.
Ripp of and not worth it.

I can recommend JS Motors in Strand, Boundary Road, I know its a bit to drive, but worth every km. We lived in Noordhoek and drove there.

Have a good time,
