We recently did a long trip with some UK visitors in the back of my Gen 3 LWB. They are both tall, but had no problem with head or legroom. However, they were not happy with the room for their feet. Not having any space under the front seats as in most other cars, meant that they had to sit in a fixed position for hundreds of kilos.
I tried it myself and was very uncomfortable in the rear after a while. The rear seats ore ok for short hops, but not longer.
Is there any way of getting a bit more foot room under the front seats?

A 2005 Gen3 model should have the electric motors under the driver seat, but not the passenger seat. So the left side passenger should have had room for his feet. The Gen4 GLS models have electric motors under both front seats.
I'm pretty sure you can fit spacers under the seats to lift the whole lot up, but am surprised to hear anybody found a lack of space in the back of a LWB Pajero - must have been the lock pairing for the 1974 BRITTISH LIONS tour
