Re: Pajero Club Gauteng Meeting!!
Hi all, Im a newby on this site as well as the Pajero world. I recently purchased a 1997 LWB 3.0 V6. I was very surprised with the capability after beeing a toyota owner for a long time. Places where my Toyota struggled was easy for the Pajero.

Anyway, my question here is if I can join the GTG on the 6 March.

If so, what to bring and who to bring?
Re: Pajero Club Gauteng Meeting!!
Sounds great. Depending on the date, we would definitely like to attend.

Re: Pajero Club Gauteng Meeting!!
Just a thought. Use it, don't use it. ;) Can't we have a GTG midway between Cape Town and Johannesburg in the future, since it sounds like the Joburg crowd are outnumbering the Capies and it would be great to see the faces behind the texts.

It also looks like most of the Gen 2's are down here.

Yomomma, you are definately welcome and I hope to see you there! Just a repost of the day's planned event and invite:

The proposed program for the day:
Date - Saturday 6th March
Time - 14:00 - 19:00(or earlier depending on each person)
Where - Protea Eco Adventures located inside Krugersdorp Game reserve
Cost - R150 per vehicle before 4th March, which is the cut off date for booking.
Pajero Owners Club of South Africa
First National Bank
Branch N1 City 200410
AC 62247958814
Please quote Eco-Your forum name as reference.

Bring - Your Pajero, your family including all the kids, some snacks and a Spirit of Adventure(no man leave the Captain at home :D ). Bring another fellow Pajero driver with you on the day even if they are not yet part of the Pajero Owners Club. If you do have a 29 Meg radio licenced on the ORRA frequency(channel 16 if I recall correctly) or VHF with ORRA frequency bring this along as well, but this is definately not a requirement.

The idea is to meet each other at the venue at 14:00 where you will receive some complimentary cooldrinks/coffee/tea and then go on a short game drive where we will also see some Lions with their new born cubs. Returning back to base those that wish so can make use of the 4x4training track. Qualified training instructors will be at hand to assist where needed and let one know your vehicle a little better. Protea is an Accredited Mitsubishi Xplorers Training venue. Go here for some details http://www.passport2adventure.co.za

14h00 Arrival at the Protea 4x4 boma
Registration
Welcome speeches etc.(POCSA, MITSUBISHI DP’s & PROTEA)
Coffee/tea/fruit juice & sandwiches (POCSA)

15h30 4x4 game drive
Lions den

16h30 Back at the 4x4 track
Play on the track

17h30 Bush braai (sponsored by Mitsubishi-dealerships)
Cash bar

Please note that Protea Eco has really come to the party by assisting us with a very reasonable entry fee, most of which will be used for entry into the game reserve itself, so please adhere to the no coolbox rule and lets support their cash bar afterwards.

19h00 End of the day

We will be using Protea Eco Adventure facilities and as such must abide by their rules and regulations so no alcohol allowed while driving and keep to existing tracks. Also please adhere to the instructors guidance.
