Hi
So I now have my first diesel Pajero I have one main question. After some driving do I need to let the engine idle to cool down the turbo?
I don't, but I use a good oil, Delo 400. However should I tow or race up a mountain pass and then stop at a view site at the top, I may do so, if I remember.

It's good practice with any diesel turbo to let it idle for about 30sec to let the oil circulate while the turbo still spins, I normally idle on the way down to the driveway which is enough time in my opinion.
