I'm going to email him the "correct" blue monochrome pic you posted and ask him to confirm that it is the same rahter than waiting for him to email me a pic...

Here is a pic of my current one just to make sure it is the same as your original one so that I know the swap would be possible.
(Note that it only has 4 buttons. 3 for clock and 1 for consumption reset while your one shows more buttons)
