I have recently bought a Pajero IO. Im working in Botwana for a few years and you find these cars for relatively cheap since they are all Japanese imports. I bought the IO because I know they came out in South Africa and I thought it wouldn't be a problem then to get parts for them. Im enjoying the car and would like to bring it back with me to South Africa after my working contract have expired but ive got a feeling that although they came out in SA, parts may still be a problem to source.
As I understand the Pajero IO's competitors included the Rav4 & Kia sportage from which the RAV4 certainly won the race when it comes to sales. I see both these cars often and every once in a while the illusive IO makes an appearance.
Would appreciate some information on this.
