Never been in any accident, and the trade in value is R283 000...
What you replacing it with.
Its hard to sell private as most guys would want to finance,so maybe go speak to a dealer who could arrange that for a small fee

I want to replace it with a Land Cruiser 76 SW, 1Hz ( 4,2 Donkey )
Also looked at the FJ Cruiser. Rear space is a compromise that I can live with untill the 2 kids get bigger. The boot is bigger than I thought, and is ok. But what "disqualified" it for me, is the rear view from behind the steering wheel. Visibility is very bad and reversing would be very difficult.
I don't even want to drive it - I might like it too much.
I've looked at 2 LC76s' and bought one last Friday. A 2008 with 74 000km @ R 300 000. BUT when I called the dealer, the owner of the dealership already sold the vehicle on the same day, and I couldn't get the vehicle.
And the one I saw on Saturday ( on Gumtree for R375 in Tokai ), is in a very bad state.
I am also thinking about an older 3,4V6 Prado... Something under R90 000.
Finance: Wesbank can do/finance private buys.

Johan, try Kirsten Motors in George, speak to Rudi. He might even offer you trade and get you the vehcile that you want. They specialise in Cruisers & Pajeros. I have a 2008 model Pajero GLS LWB and is thinking of selling it, but not sure yet what I want to buy in its place. It is a very nice car, but a bit noisy inside on dirt. Is the Sport quiet on dirt...no rattles? Cheers, Gert.
I also HATE rattles! I grew up on a farm 30km outside of town and
the 30 km was corrugated dirt ( sinkplaat ). I still go to the farm about 4-5 times a year and can compare the Pajero Sport with other 4x4's on the same road. Tyres always 1,8 - 2 bar:
Now one man's rattle box is another man's smooth ride, so I can only compare with what I know.
PS is better than my dad's Rord Ranger 3.0 TD single cab ( 2008 ). Ford has a LOT of rattles inside, but handles ok.
PS is better than Fortuner and Hilux with a softer, more stable ride. Rattles, or lack of rattles is the same.
Isuzu 300 D/cab soft ride like the PS, no rattles, solid, but not as planted as the Pajero Sport.
Gen 3 Pajero: No rattles, solid on corrugated roads.
Gen 4 Pajero: Rattles on tar, never tried on dirt.
Discovery 3: Rattles in the back, solid air suspension, soft and stable ride.
Nissan NP300, no rattles, but very hard bouncy ride.
Just my experience with this vehicles. Opinions may differ, and tyres and shock absorbers make a huge difference.
The PS offers a much softer ride with the Dueler HP tyres than with the Pirelli Scorpion AT-R's I have on at the moment.
