Just go to any place that does exhausts and they remove it and put a small silencer box in its place

Mine was replaced with just a piece of staight pipe. No problems after +- 100K km.

Good day all,
After reading about the cat convertor removal I decided to do the same but instead of removing the convertor and replacing it with a piece of pipe. I took the convertor off and remove the internal honey comb and mesh. I made sure it was nice and clean and then re-install the empty convertor, I have noticed a difference in power, response and no increased sound level.
Now how do I go about cleaning or blanking off the ERG? Please step by step.

Hello Guys - I have been thinking of doing the same? Is it as easy as taking the car to SupaQuick, have them cut it off, remove and replace with a straight length of pipe?

Replace with a straight trough pipe.....best R400 I have spent in a long time. The vehicle also starts more easy.....A friend has done the same with the same positive result...
