Flickering Lights 3,2d

Can anyone help me ,I have 3,2d and the oil light battery light at temp light water in fuel filter light they keep coming on off then fine couple days the on off then they flicker replaced battery still doing it any ideas has this happed before to any one car runs fine just on off all time

Go lie under your car just behind the front propshaft. There is a wiring loom that runs under/around the transfer case and is held in place by 3 grey plastic clips. Check that all these clips are still working and that the wiring loom did not by chance come loose and dropped onto the front propshaft where it is chaffed through and earthing on the prop. This is what happened to mine some time ago after the one clip was broken when gearbox was repaired. Watch out! If yours are the same fix quickly and dont engsge 4x4 as this will let the front prop turn and eat up your whole harnass and wreak total havoc!!

HI ALL SORTED the alternator was upgraded to 140 amp as have dual battery system took it to Mitpro in centrion and they were putting same alternator on that's why they couldn't find the fault ,took it to auto electrian which was recomened to me and he found fault and now its working 100% .

Interesting. Somehow I dont think the upgraded alternator was the fix though it might have sorted out the problem by chance at the same time. The reason I say this is because I often charge 4 batteries from the standard alternator that came with the vehicle and never had flickering lights due to that?
But at least yours is sorted, so all is well that ends well.
