Hi All
After much research, I've narrowed my search for my next vehicle to a Gen4 GLS (have owned and enjoyed a Nissan Hardbody for 10 years)
I had a look at a dealer tradebook the other day and was very surprised to see the massive difference in price between the facelift 140kW 2010 GLS and the 121kW 2010 GLS.
1. So my question is why is it so, and if so, is the newer motor worth such a premium?
2. And are there any issues with getting a 2007 Gen4 with low mileage at a great price vs. a newer one with the same mileage?
And
3. If anyone is looking at trading theirs in (say for the new 2015 facelift), please give me a shout first!
Would really appreciate your comments,
Looking forward to joining the Pajero world,
Tej
The engine is actually the same. Slightly different settings on computer and different turbo gives the extra oomph on the 140kw ones. I won't worry to much in buying an older one if the price is right.

Hi CATS
Thanks for your reply. Been trying to private message you but seems that functionality is not open to new members?
Would you mind PM'ing me? I see that you have tons of knowledge and experience on Pajeros. Would like to also chat about Gen2 models.
Thanks again
