Hi, I am looking for a gearbox on my Pajero. Was little bit to hard on it at Atlantis dunes this weekend. Can some one help me with some thing like that? my number is 074 283 0970 Steyn. Will get curriers if its in jo burg and is cheap enough. Thanx

They are relatively scarce due to them being quite reliable, same as the 4m41 motor. Who diagnosed that it is finished, what are the symptoms?

I am guessing jumping out of first gear on acceleration??? If so definately fixable. Replacement is gonna be like hens teeth. Maybe rather look for replacemnt auto box if you really need to go that route. Bit more hassle but doable.

More than likely you may just need fresh fluid a valve body.
