I am having my Pajeros' oil (DELO 400), oil filter & 2 x fuel filters serviced by CL diesel while they are re-fitting my injector pump for good measure (and also guarantee purposes for Randburg diesel.)
I normally buy my filters and service goodies at my nearest spares shop - ie Midas, Good Hope Spares, etc & I only use GUD filters. I decided to check the pricing from the agents as apparently they can sometimes be cheaper.
Oil filter (GUD Z259)
Midas - R194.50
Agents - R522.03 (R327.53 more expensive!!)
Fuel Filter (GUD Z554)
Midas - R226.00
Agents - R550.36 (R324.36 more expensive!!)
Imperial seriously need to do some homework on their spare parts pricing structure, this is really just beyond me why they need to charge SO much more??
