Hi, I took my 3.2 DiD SWB Diesel to the agents for a service, and afterwards the aircon was not working. It worked perfectly before the service. The engine was cleaned vigourously with a pressure washer. The engine idles faster than usual when aircon is selected. This indicates to me that the compressor clutch is not closing and loading the engine. The v-belts were all renewed. On inspecting what can be seen of the compressor I note signs of grease or similar lubricant oozing out in front of the pulley in the area where I expect the clutch mechanism is located.
If it has to be replaced does anyone know if only the compressor clutch can be replaced, without renewing the compressor.
Fuses are all OK.
