Price of 2001 3.2 GLS
Hallo all

After a bit of information gained i am thinking of buying a 2001 3.2 GLS with 240000 km on the clock. The vehicle seems to be in a good condition , has been stripped inside to cleen from the metal , had scratches at two places which is repaired , the body fully re-sprayed.The first time I saw the vehicle was after the spray job has been done , still stripped inside so couldn't see anything funny.
I am looking at this vehicle because wherever we go we have to drive 100km dirt road which is in bad condition at times.Would like a new one but for now i think this should be my price class. Can someone give me an idea(range) how much should one pay for this model vehicle , with the above mentioned bear in mind or other suggestions.

Thank You
Chris
Re: Price of 2001 3.2 GLS
Prices currently range from about R70000 to R130000 for these year Lwb models depending on mileage and general state of repair/upkeep. Autos tend to sell slightly higher than manuals as well.

I recently sold my manual version for around the bottom end due to it having a slight overheating problem when towing, but otherwise was in excellent nick with basically everything on the engine, gearbox and drivetrain refitted with new or refurbished items over the years or very recently as preventative maintenance.

Bear in mind that if the diesel pump need refurbishment the bill is around the R35000 range, so keep that in your budget as some tend to need it done at around the 3000000km - 400000km range it seems.

I still miss my vehicle very much and hope it brings as much joy to the new owner as it did to me.
