Knock in Pajero Sport steering
My 2014 Pajero Sport (30000km) bought new has developed a knock in the steering that the service agents seem unable to cure (it's been back 3 times). The latest repair was to apparently replace the entire steering column (not sure if they actually did that). It manifests itself at parking speeds only, when traversing a slight rise in the ground, & the steering slightly turned. It is felt through the steering wheel, almost like "stick-slip", a phenomena whereby a normally sliding surface jams (sticks) momentarily before suddenly releasing (slipping). If you can imagine that. It's a felt sensation, not a noise. The car runs straight as a die when on the move. Has anyone experienced this?
Regards
Pajero Pete
