I am chasing at least 1 Central Locking Remote for my 2001 Gen 3 Pajero SWB.
Code on the inside of the remote is G8D-204S-A. The actual chip on my remote is corroded and not functioning.
I have seen on other forums members getting remotes off eBay, but all of these are G8D-522M-A or G8D-523M-A.
A) Does anyone have a working old remote they would like to sell?
B) Can someone confirm the code off the inside of their working remote?
I don't wont to go ordering something that turns up and doesn't work due to it being the incorrect frequency.
Your remote is unique and must be matched with your vehicle. The could cost you around R1500 for the reading of your ECU and programming the new remote.

The remote is easily programmable myself. There is a simple process which is well documented on these forums.
I just need to source a reasonably priced remote.
I am now considering an aftermarket alarm / remote system. Seems they will be significantly cheaper than trying to source a new remote for the OEM system.

Please let me know where you can get this remote, I only have one for my 2000 GDI IO Pajero. Luckily I have a spare key and the IO does not need the remote as this car does not have a transponder to start.Foxxy wrote:Sorry...incorrect.
