Very true, I certainly agree that paying by the hour sucks but thats the system they use so we the customer are pretty much at their mercy unless we go the DIY route.

I know I can try other places but I like to stick to one place when I can - they have fitted the bullbar, winch, roof tracks and roof rack - I am very happy with their quality of work and theyre really a friendly bunch so I wouldnt like to have to go somewhere else.

Hi Terry,

Try LA Sport Centurion, the guys that fitted my tank. They are now clued up and will certainly help you. The guy in the workshop is Angus, tell him that I told you about the fitment.

Hope it helps.

Re: Aux Fuel Tank for Gen 2 SWB
Terry,

I think the main and only real reason LA Sport Menlyn did say that to me is that it took the entire of Friday, and 4 hours on Saturday to fit. They were not expecting it to take that long, nor the mission is was to remove parts to fit the tank, then obviously put the parts back again. The complication of the fitment resulted in the reaction they gave me (when I picked it up) saying they would never fit one again.

The fitment job they did was, however, perfect. They are a great group of guys there and they have always done the job well. There are many places around Pretoria in which you could try in order to get the fitment done, so if LA Sport said they can't do it anymore, shop around, you will find someone.

Hope that it does work out for you man when you do want to get one fitted.

Tim
