My new PS does not have auto doorlock when you start driving, like most other cars. The agents tell me there is a aftermarket gadget they can fit to LWB Pajero and ASX to do this, but not for the PS.
Anyone else think it is crazy that a modern car does not have this function?
I had an after market system fitted that locks all doors when you turn the ignition on. I agree, Pajero should get with the need for auto locking in this country.

Was this at the dealers? Cost?
I agree - this is lousy - even my 2001 Colt D/C had an auto locking fuction!

Nope....Dealer recommended a fitter. Cost only R800.

@Ian- please share details of where we can go to get this fitted. I am sure that this doesn't void ones warranty.

Well it seems that the PS is not the only car that doesn't come with it. My Mrs just bought a brand new Mazda CX3 and lone and behold, no auto door lockGert Kruger wrote:My new PS does not have auto doorlock when you start driving, like most other cars.
