My Pajero 3.5 v6 (petrol) has had the normal crank bolts problem repaired. But now it would run for 5 mins and then misfire on 2 cylinders. Any ideas how to resolve?
Re the misfire
I have no knowledge of the V6 but I had a similar problem on a 4Cyl (not a Pajero) with misfire on two cylinders
The culprit was one HT (plug lead) faulty
One HT coil was driving two cylinders. The computer monitor the spark and when it detect a problem with the spark it turns off the fuel to the injectors (both cylinders). I presume it is a safety factor so that raw fuel is not dumped on the catalytic converter

Greetings Guys. We've changed coil packs and HT leads. The vehicle now runs for 15 mins and then misfires. It look likes like the new (pirate) power unit overheats after 15 mins.
Any ideas on how to resolve?
Thanks
