As far as I can tell, and im only going on my gen 3 2004 pajero, tc cannot be disabled unless you pull fuses... only stability control can be disabled by the switch (it is automatically disabled when in 4LLC)

Ah man....
These old combat pilots.... they still call a "spin" a "flip".
Cloyd, back to your original question:
1) your aftermarket DL and factory TC don't seem to want to work together.
2) I can't find the pic re. the ABS connector - sorry bud.
3) you'll have to experiment with the ABS relay and see what happens.

Roelf,
It took a long time but niw I remember:
Whilst at De Wildt going up their cross-axle track with DL "ON", in low range and with very little power on, the one front wheel started to loose traction - one could hear the wheel start spinning - then it stopped spinning . Then when the one rear wheel was hanging in the air, movement continued without any spinning from the back - with DK "ON" both rear wheels would have had to loose traction before there would be any spinning - till one front wheel started spinning again (remember with very little power on). Then the spin would stop.
Thus, with DL "ON", ATC will work but mainly on the front wheels.
BUT what happens in sand and how do I disconnect ATC - both rear will wheel spin in sand plus one or both front wheels. Question: how do I disable ATC?

To completely disable the ATC and ASC, this is one way of doing it (which works quite well!)
Follow the wires from the TC sensor on the passenger side rear wheel until you see the plug below. (Easiest one to access)
Switch off the car. Pull the plug. Cover it with something to keep sand/dust out.
If you switch on the ignition the Traction Control and ASC lights will come on. What you have done now is to simulate a fault on the system, causing it to shut down.
Your car will however drive absolutely normal, but without any of the 2x systems being operational.
(Nou kan jy kole gooi, en hy loop lekker los................sonder die Japanesie in die komper wat jou terug hou!!
)
When done, switch off, plug in the sensor, switch on.............everything back to normal for your drive home.
Bit of a slep, but not required very often!

Me confuzed with ASC and ATC, both of which are fitted to my Paj.
