Hi,
Let me paint the scenario...I'm looking to buy a 2006/2007 lwb with relatively low mileage.
I'm looking at a 2007 3.2 DiD with 238k km on the clock, but there is a catch. Apparently due to some dirty fuel, the injectors started misbehaving causing a hole in piston #1. This happened at 235k km. The owner has replaced all the pistons, rings and injector tips. Radiator and hoses have been replaced, and brakes done as well. Gearbox has been flushed and refilled. The engine has only done 2000km since the rebuild.
My question is...would you consider this a good buy, if all receipts were available for work done, and the price was right? What would be a good price to pay for this vehicle?
Thanks for the input
Paul
Is this a gen4 or gen 3 2007 model?
Assuming the vehicle is in excellent condition.
R150000 if gen4 and you know and trust the workshop that did the work. R110000 if you dont know them and it is a gen4. This is what I would offer and not one cent more.

I wouldn't...
I'm no expert, but from the reading I've done over the last 7 years I've got the impression that the 4m41 doesn't fix well...ie. the fixes I've seen have tended to give issues again later.
Just my opinion.
