Hi all! I have a gen3, 3.2 dhd automatic pajero and last month the planetary gear broke and we got a replacement gear box. After the replacement, the power seemed to drop off when shifting from 2nd to 3rd then it would kick and have like a shift shock as it changed to 3rd gear. We tried a second gear box and still the same problem, had the computer and solenoids checked but all work fine. We tried a rebuilding kick but it would still have this kick from 2nd to 3rd. It would disappear when you disconnect the battery but would come back after a while. Anyone experience anything like this?
Did you fix the problem? I have exactly the same problem. Also replaced the gearbox with no success.
