Hello folks
Has anyone on the forum had their software remapped by SAC?
If yes, what are your thoughts - and any advice?
They showed a results of another Pajero they did the remapping for and the graphs indicate about a 20% gain on torque and 20% on Nm.
They advised that the re-mapping is better than a chip.
Thanks

My personal opinion based on what I have heard from first hand experience..... don’t go to SAC.
My advice is to contact Arnold Venter at Mitsi-Tech in Alberton about his software upgrade/remap. He is a Mitsubishi fundi/specialist and not a nationwide franchise.
Just my opinion but do your research.
PS : torque = N.m. so I don’t get why they said what they said about the gains

I agree fully with Kurt.
Had my Pajero Sport done by SAC with a Unichip. The performance was great but it kept on stalling when cruising downhill. After 3 visits back to them they could not fix it. It told them to take it out and refund me, as I was not to be there guinea pig.
Use Mitsu Tec they have good reviews.
Good luck!
