My Pajero's gearbox has stripped the splines on the main shaft while visiting the Kgalagadi. The car is currently in Upington, at Mayfair (impressive workshop, neat, clean, friendly and helpful staff).
They can source a reconditioned unit for R24500. Just wondering if one can get hold of a recon gearbox at a better price?
