Hi. I have a 2000 Pajero 3l V6 manual SWB. 235000km. Gearbox, transfer case redone and all sensors replaced about 10 000km ago.
Recently when driving it seem as if the 4x4 wants to engage by itself. One hears n gear noise engaging then the 4x4 lights starts flashing. If you stop and start again it's fine till the next time
I removed the 4x4 fuse after which it stopped.
Putting the fuse back it starts again. Any advice please.
Marius
Hi Marius
My LWB does the same after I damaged the abs sensor on a wheel bearing replacement. I replaced the sensor with a N$8 Aliexpress sensor. Dealership wanted to sell a N$460 sensor to me. I will need to replace both sensor as they are not working the same frequency.
I have a friend that had the same problem with his colt. After replacing all the sensors it stopped.
Another advise that is commonly given is that the circumference of the wheels are not the same. You can start checking that before going into the sensors.
