I urgently need advise with regards to the following dashboard lights on my 2005 Pajero 3.2 DiD: center lock light flashing, traction control OFF light on, traction control light on and no green rwd and fwd lights at all. I checked the fault codes to be code 33. As we are all locked down, I cant ever get assistance from the dealers.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.
It’s probably the 5 switches on top of the transfer case that controls the SS system. I had to have mine replaced a while back when my centre diff lock wouldn’t disengage.

With no spares available, is it possible to pre-determine which switch it can be, remove it, and try some home fix?

Hi, I had a similar issue a couple of times. In my case this happened while driving. The center diff lock starts to flush and at the same time the rwd green lights go off. the first time this happened i just ignored it until I got to my destination (about 30KM ).
When i restarted the car everything was back to normal. The second time I did the DIY fault check and got code 33. I disconnected the battery for a while and reconnected. Started the car and checked for errors- Nothing.
obviously this just clears the error but it does not fix the problem. Have not figured out what the problem actually is.
Since we also in lock down here (Botswana), I guess I will be taking a close look at those 5 switches as suggested by kurtG.

If it has moving parts, You can always figure out how it works. Not applicable for solid state hard drives. 
From all forums, it seems to be a common problem, with various signs. One guy's success is not a guarantee for the next. I disconnected the battery several times, to "reset"the fault but as soon as it is reconnected, before even starting the engine, the CL-light flashes again.
