Storage system for LWB Gen 3
I am looking at a storage system for my LWB Gen 3. One option is the Frontrunner system with sliders for ammo boxes. Any good? Any idea if it takes 4 or 6 boxes with the rear seats in the up position?

Any cheaper alternatives I can consider? I am not very practical when it comes to making things.

Keenekam,

1. I planned and had a friend bend and weld my drawer system. The drawer takes 4 x "milk crates" (one for the spares and tools, one for our liquid refreshments eg G@T amd redheart and coke supplies, and two for food stuff. The top is also on runners and I use this to stow my camp chairs, folding table, etc when trafelling. On the underside of the top, I keep a small clip-on table that we use to make coffee on during short stops. This table clips onto the front of the drawerwhen we make coffee. On the front of the drawer I mounted my axe and a "panga" and also use it to clip a small table onto when we make coffee during stops.
2. It works as well as any Front Runner or any other make and cost a quater of the price. It take about 30 min to install pr remove it.

Cloyd

Re: Storage system for LWB Gen 3
Hi Guys.

I have been building a drawer system for the back of my Gen 3 LWB Pajero. Most of the frame work and draws are done. I now need to cover it.

Does anyone know of anywhere in Durban I can get Marine Carpet or a good alternative?

Thanks
