Hi guys,
I am looking without much luck for 16 inch rims for my gen 3 GLS. I asked Mitsubishi to quote on them and they came to over R10000 for 4, which is outrageous! The only other rims I found that fitted was a set of A lines, but they were a bit 'bling' for my taste.
Does anyone know where to buy rims from? Preferably steel ones, and preferably with a zero offset.

I saw someone had 15" Nissan Patrol rims on their Pajero (might have been on this forum... Benhur I think). I'm not sure how they fitted, and the rim offset, etc. Maybe someone knows?

AFAIK one can't fit 15" on the Gen 3 - the brake calipers are too big, thus only 16". Yes, it was Benhur, but I think they were rims off a Y61 Patrol. They are 16" with a 10mm positive offset (compared to 46mm positive offset for Paj OEM alloy rims), so the track width will increase by 36mm per side.

Just find someone who wants to give his GLX a facelift ... Judging by the number GLX's running on alloy wheels there should be a large stach of unused steel rims somewhere

If this is the case, I can then use the set of 15" BFG Muds that came off my Gen2.5 - they only have 5000km on and cost R6000-00 new. No sense in selling them then.AndreBenson wrote:Macjohnw
